Poems to Pyro Girl

Dessert (Friday April 13, 2007)
Chocolate shell
And no ice cream
What was a man to do?
But who could tell
That it wasn't a dream --
The time I had with you?

Mall Parking Lot (Friday April 13, 2007)
Tight white jeans
Soft orange shirt
Black heels four inches high
A walk that made
Me stop the car
And stare as you went by.

The Forest at Night is Quite a Delight (October 1, 2004)
It's astronomy
When you have me
Gazing at you in our room.
I love the stars in your eyes
But they don't hypnotize
Me quite like the full moon.

11th Anniversary (July 25, 2003)
If you were hot cocoa,
I'd savor the sips.
If you were ice cream,
I'd lick all the drips.

If you were a sundae,
I'd play with the toppings.
If you were popcorn,
I'd watch all the poppings.

If you were a bike,
I'd ride everywhere.
If you were a table,
I'd be a chair.

If you were a pool,
I'd swim without trunks.
If we were both beds,
I'd wish we were bunks.

Wild Rose (June 20, 2003)
Roses are red;
Your face would be too
If this poem said
What we're going to do!

Tulips (July 10, 2003 -- Cedar City)
Roses are green,
Tulips are too
With envy of your
Parting view.

Side-View Mirrow (June 3, 2003)
Before the ride
Did you want to hear
How I loved the scene
In the side-view mirror?

Pyro Girl (May 30, 2003)
Pyro Girl
Flies through the air --
Flames shooting from here
And here, and there.
